When creating a new wallet, or importing an existing wallet to the Ethos Self-Custody Vault Testflight, your seed phrase is secure.
The security on the Ethos Self-Custody Vault Testflight will be the same as the launched Ethos Self-Custody Vault and the code is audited.
Newly created and imported wallets will have their seed phrases and private keys encrypted and stored on devices using Apple’s secure enclave, which is excluded from device backups.
We highly recommend that you also store your seed phrase manually with a paper copy, or encrypt and store it on iCloud so that if you lose your phone, your seed phrase is backed up and protected.
